Pilot Study: eye-tracking and skin conductance to monitor task engagement during bimodal neurofeedback
Abstract
Neurofeedback (NF) is becoming a feasible brain training technique with a potential in rehabilitation for a broad range of brain disorders. However, there is high variability in NF efficacy with a big proportion of participants failing to regulate their own brain activity. We propose to use eye-tracking (ET) and skin conductance (SC) tools to identify attention and arousal features, with the aim of monitoring real-time changes in task engagement during bimodal EEG-fMRI NF in our forthcoming work.
